Builds AI systems that check their own work — and installs them inside companies that have to make expensive decisions every day.
Who he is
Sen Rama is the founder and CTO of Jupiter, an applied-AI lab based in McAllen, Texas. He has been writing software since the late 1990s — Pascal, C++ and Assembly before the web — and has spent the years since building companies rather than features: an operating company he grew to an eight-figure exit, an early telehealth build inside a health company, and now Jupiter, where one reasoning brain runs live products across real estate, lending, financial and event research, physical-world measurement and private on-premises AI.
He completed MIT’s AI executive program on designing and building AI projects, holds a BBA in Management from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, and works with an invited MIT AI Advisory Board that guides Jupiter’s product, data, finance, policy and design decisions.
The ideas, in his own words
Live today
- Jupiter Real Estate — a free, multilingual AI for American home buyers, sellers and investors; a vertical AI operating system with 27 departments, live deal scoring and a Pro tier with real local agents.
- Jupiter Trader and Pred MKT — decision-intelligence terminals in which a panel of AI analysts debates every signal, capital is re-weighted on real outcomes, and every forecast is scored against what actually happened. The fee audit of the prediction-market engine is published as research.
- Jupiter Roof — aerial roof measurement: facets, pitch and area verified from imagery in minutes.
- iCredit, JTMS and the Data Flywheel — lending intelligence, token-cost governance across every product, and a marketing department that runs on proprietary pre-transaction intent.
- Strategic AI consulting and fractional CTO work — the same architecture, installed inside other organizations.
Three ideas he keeps coming back to
- Second-order AI. A system that only answers is a cost; a system that scores its own answers and recalibrates is an asset. The loop has to close.
- Collaborative intelligence. Some judgements belong to people. Name them in advance, route the person in with full context, and record what they decided.
- Variety absorbs variety. Ashby’s Law: a business faces enormous variety, so the system that runs it needs matching range — one brain, many departments, in the languages its customers think in.
